Artist's Comments

This is a portrait I did for my niece's birthday. I really like the way it turned out. I wanted the focus to be her eyes, so therefore I didnot spend much effort on some of the other features, ie. clothes. I did however spend a huge amount of time on her hair, which I feel is alot better than what I have done up to this point...but I'm still learning. I hope to do more pics of her and my other nieces in the future. Anyway, I look forward to comments. Thanks
Oh yeah, my scanner sucks. The original is alot better. Especially towards the bottom of the pic. The scanner just completely lost all of the texture and tone of the shirt and neck. Did I mention my scanner sucks???

You are welcome.
By not dedicating so much attention to the clothes, I think you create a good effect. Some one that looks to the draw will focus more attention in the face, witch in a portrait is more important. :aww:
Continue the wonderful work.
